What is The Community Band weekend?

Its an opportunity for you to develop your playing while sharing your interest in wind band music with others across the province!  This is an annual event that attracts roughly 80 musicians of all ages and talent levels who get together for a weekend of fun and music making! 

WHICH INSTRUMENTS CAN PARTICIPATE?

      • Woodwinds
      • Brass
      • Percussion

WHAT DOES THE WEEKEND INCLUDE?

      • Social Gatherings, Meet and Greets!
      • Full Rehearsal Day (Saturday)
      • Massed Band Performance (Sunday)
      • Ample breaks, coffee/water, and snacks
      • Working and learning from experienced conductors
      • Rehearsing new, contemporary, and standard wind band repertoire
      • Hotel discounted rates

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?


      • Your instrument and all accessories, mutes, etc
      • Music stand, instrument stand
      • Stand light (optional...but can come in handy)
      • Reusable water bottle

How Much DOES REGISTRATION COST?

    • CBA-Ontario Individual or Ensemble Members: $35.00 CDN
      This rate is inclusive of those who perform in an ensemble who is currently a member of CBA-Ontario.

    • CBA-Ontario Student Members: $20.00 CDN
      Classification of students includes those who are currently enrolled in a High School, or University.

    • Non-Members: $45.00
      Non Members include individuals or ensembles who are currently not members of CBA-Ontario.

    • 1 Year CBA-Ontario Membership + CBW Registration: $60.00

    • FREE 1 year Ensemble membership for organizations who are represented by 5 registrants.
