CBW Event Information

Attending the one of our community Band Weekend?  Here's all the information you required to plan and prepare for the event.

The CBA-Ontario Community Band WEEKEND 2023!!

We are very excited to announce our upcoming COMMUNITY CONCERT BAND WEEKEND!! Together with our host ensemble, McMaster Concert Band, we're excited to offer you the opportunity to learn and develop your skills with like minded musicians who are equally passionate about wind band music.  The event will be held over the OCTOBER 14-15 weekend on the campus of McMaster University, and its stunning LR Wilson Concert Hall in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada).

Bring along your fellow band mates, and enjoy rehearsing and performing in a massed band setting featuring known guest conductors from across the province.

Given the physical limitations on stage, registrations have been capped temporarily at 60 players. While the stage can handle more musicians, any registrations beyond this number will be accepted, but placed temporarily on a wait list until we can further assess the physical space available based on instrumentation needs, balance, and size of each sections. We will do our best to find a space for as many musicians as we are allowed.  Be sure to register early!

Registrations will close once the max capacity is reached.
