Band Director Position - Galt Kiltie Band

Saturday, February 13, 2021 1:50 PM | Anonymous

We have been in existence since 1902 and we have evolved over the years to become a Community Concert Band with a membership of 40+ members. We no longer march, or wear kilts, and we perform public and private concerts throughout the calendar year. We are mostly funded by the Cambridge Charitable Bingo Center and the Music Directorship is a paid position. A successful candidate for Director would have experience with regards to:

  • Conducting a group of musicians
  • Music repertoire selection to match skill level of a group
  • Development of rehearsal strategies
  • Membership encouragement and growth
  • Public performance concert planning

Due to Covid 19 restrictions The Board of Directors will be accepting resumes and conducting interviews via zoom, and once the Ontario restrictions are lifted, will be able to audition candidates

Please submit your resume to carolynkiltie@gmail.com
