Your Biography
Established in 1872, NCB is one of the oldest continuously functioning bands in Canada. With roots going back to the early 1850's, the Band has been an integral part of the social and cultural life and shared history of our hometown, Newmarket, ON.
We are committed to the community band concept, providing an opportunity for community musicians of all levels of experience to make music and improve their skills in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.
Our 150th has just passed in 2022 and we celebrated this important milestone even while dealing with the ongoing challenges of a global pandemic.

We are the provincial chapter of the Canadian Band Association dedicated to providing amateur or professional instrumental ensembles, musicians, conductors, and composers with lifelong learning opportunities, workshops, and clinics
